JOHN ROVETO
John Roveto John played his first professional gig at 13.
At 15 he was in "THE ORANGE GROVE POTATO BAND", a band that wrote and performed mostly original compositions, opening for the popular Montreal band the "RABBLE".

In 1972-73 John played in an "ALICE COOPER" tribute band called "ADANAC". This Montreal based group was formed at Vanier College where 3 of the members were attending, performing in the local high school and bar-club circuit including the legendary Maples Inn in Pte. Claire, but the band broke up at the end of that summer. That was it, music was over for the time being.

In 1987 after a 14 year absence from the music scene, John started playing with some local musicians called the "CONVERTIBLES". They became very popular playing many outdoor festivals and Canada Day concerts in the Montreal area.

In 1998 the group disbanded but John continued to play in local projects along with drummer Michel Tordjman. He and Michel eventually decided to form a group and after a few personnel changes along the way, the band has arrived at its present complement of musicians.
